Banana Pies

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 150 g Lurpak cow milk butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg for spreading

Method

In a mixer’s bowl, using the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar until light, fluffy and creamy.

Then, roll out the puff pastry sheet and spread the butter mixture over the entire surface.

Cut the bananas into half-inch slices and make two alternating rows of them along the length of the puff pastry.

Right after, roll your puff pastry carefully.

Cut into 9 pieces and place them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Then, beat an egg well and use a pastry brush to coat the banana pies.

Optionally, sprinkle with a little brown sugar.

Finally, bake in a preheated oven, at 170 C fan, for about half an hour.
