Chocolate Banana bread

Ingredients 

  • 4 ripe medium bananas
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 150 g cow milk butter 82% fat
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon 
  • 250 g self-rising flour
  • 100 g bitter chocolate

 

Method

In a non-stick frying pan add the bananas in slices, butter, and brown sugar.

Place the frying pan over high heat and stir constantly, until the mixture becomes mushy. Remove from heat, mash well the bananas with a fork and let the mixture cool (ideally 20-30 minutes).

Then, add the eggs and stir until they mix thoroughly.

 

Afterwards, cut the chocolate into chunks and add to the mixture along with the flour and cinnamon.   

Pour the batter into a cake pan that is buttered and dusted with flour.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160 C fan for 30-35 minutes.
