Ingredients for the cake

  • 4 medium eggs 
  • 250 g butter 
  • 350 g granulated sugar
  • 250 ml whole milk 
  • 400 g self-rising flour 
  • 125 g ION cocoa powder 

 

Ingredients to serve 

  • ION Cover cream or ION Fondue 

 

Method 

 In a mixer’s bowl, add the butter and sugar, and beat on medium speed until fluffy.

Then, gradually add the eggs, which have already been whipped up, and keep beating at the same speed, until the ingredients are homogenized.

While beating at medium speed, add the flour and cocoa powder, and then gradually pour the milk. 

Butter and flour properly a bundt pan and pour the cake batter into it. Bake in a preheated oven at 170-180 C fan for about 40-45 minutes.

 

Heat the ION cover cream or the ION Fondue over a bain-marie or in a microwave oven, until it melts. When the cake is ready, remove it from the bundt pan and place it on a plate, then pour whichever type of garnishing you wish over the top of the cake.
