Easter Orange Cookies

Ingredients

  • 750 gr. all-purpose flour
  • 250 gr. cow butter (Lurpak)
  • 250 gr. powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 vanilla powder
  • 50 ml cognac
  • 130 ml full-fat milk
  • 10 gr. baking powder
  • Zest of 2 oranges

 

Method
In the mixer bowl, using the paddle attachment, beat the butter with the powdered
sugar until fluffy.

While mixing, add the egg yolk.

Then, add all the dry ingredients and start mixing, gradually adding the milk and
cognac.

In about a minute, the dough will be ready.

Shape the cookies into your desired shape and size, then lightly brush them with a
well-beaten egg.

Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated
oven at 170°C (fan setting) for about 20-25 minutes, depending on your oven.
