Ingredients for the dough
- 250 g whole wheat flour
- 30 ml olive oil
- 140 ml water
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 5 g dried yeast
- a bit of semolina, to roll out the dough
Ingredients for the topping
- 1 large tomato
- 6-7 slices light turkey ham
- 6-7 slices light turkey bacon
- 1 package ARLA PROTEIN sliced cheese
- 5-6 mushrooms, fresh or condensed
Method
Add the water into a coffee pot and heat until lukewarm. In a mixer’s bowl, add the lukewarm water, dried yeast, honey, and 2-3 teaspoons the amount of the flour and stir gently.
Then, cover the mixer’s bowl with plastic wrap and let it in a warm place for 15 minutes until yeast activates.
When ready, add into the mixer’s bowl the rest of the ingredients and beat, using the hook attachment, at medium speed for 5 minutes, until it forms into a stretchy dough.
Right after, grease a bowl, place the dough into it and seal with plastic wrap.
Finally, let the dough rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes.
When the pizza dough is ready, drizzle on your working surface a bit of semolina, place the dough on it and start rolling the dough out by hand into the size and shape of your preference.
Afterwards, line a baking pan with parchment paper and spread the pizza dough on it. Then, beat the tomato into a food processor, as long as you wish. Optionally, add salt and pepper.
Spread the mashed tomato over the surface of the pizza dough with a spoon, and add the turkey ham slices, then the sliced cheese, and finally the mushrooms.
Bake in a preheated oven at 250 C fan, on the middle oven rack for 10-12 minutes.
