Ingredients
- 1 kg all-purpose flour
- 500 ml fresh milk
- 2 packets dry yeast
- 20 gr. sugar
- 100 gr. Lurpak cow butter
- 50 ml olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 400 g Arla mozzarella
Method
Place all ingredients in a mixer. Mix using the dough hook for 3-4 minutes at medium
to high speed.
Take a large bowl, grease it with a little oil, and place the dough inside. Cover with
plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm place for at least 20 minutes.
Once the dough has risen, lightly flour your work surface. Roll out the dough into a
rectangle about half a centimeter thick. Cut it into six vertical strips.
In the center of each strip, add grated cheese and small cubes of butter. Fold the
edges slightly and twist the ends to shape the peinirli.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
Once baked, remove the peinirli from the oven and brush them with cold butter.
