Ingredients for the chocolate pudding pie
- 120 g granulated sugar
- 6 medium eggs
- 120 ml sunflower oil
- 120 g fine semolina
- 80 g all-purpose flour
- 80 g ION cocoa powder
- 10 g baking powder
Ingredients for the syrup
- 600 ml water.
- 600 ml sugar
- 300 g ION dark chocolate couverture
Method for the syrup
Place a small pot over heat, add the sugar along with water and stir properly, until it comes to a boil. Immediately after, remove from heat and add the dark chocolate couverture while stirring constantly, until melted.
Method for the chocolate pudding pie
In a mixer’s bowl add the eggs and sugar and stir well with the whisk attachment, until they become white and fluffy.
Then, add gradually the sunflower oil.
Finally, add the flour, cocoa powder, semolina, and baking powder and stir at low speed for half a minute.
Pour the mixture into a 25x30cm baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 C fan for 40 minutes.
When baked, remove the chocolate pudding pie from the oven, score into pieces to your liking and pour over the cold syrup.
