Super Healthy Whole Wheat Penne

Ingredients

  • 150 g tomato juice
  • 1 cottage Arla protein
  • 4-5 slices of turkey bacon
  • 250 g whole wheat penne
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tabasco

 

 

Method
Boil the penne pasta according to the instructions on the box.

Then, in a large bowl, add the Arla Protein cottage cheese, salt, pepper, tabasco, and tomato juice.

Next, using a hand blender, mix them until homogenized.

After 4-5 minutes of boiling the pasta, take about 100 ml of boiling water and add it to the cottage mixture, stirring once more with the stick blender.

Right after, cut the turkey bacon into pieces, and then add it to a non-stick frying pan. Sauté over high heat for 2-3 minutes.

Add the pink cottage cheese sauce into the frying pan, continuing to heat over high heat for 2-3 minutes.

When the pasta is ready, drain it, and pour it into the pan with the hot sauce.

Stir for 1-2 minutes and serve.
