- 350 g self-rising flour
- 300 g granulated sugar
- 200 g LURPAK cow milk butter
- 50 ml ARLA heavy cream 36%
- 4 medium eggs
- icing sugar, for garnish
Place butter and sugar in a mixer’s bowl, and beat at medium to high speed, using the paddle attachment, until light and fluffy.
Right after, gradually pour the whisked eggs, while mixing continuously.
Then, add the rest of the ingredients and stir for one minute until completely homogenized.
Grease and flour a rectangular cake pan, transfer the batter to it and spread it evenly using a mariz or a spoon.
Next, grease a sharp knife with seed oil, and score the batter lengthwise right in the middle.
Bake in a preheated oven, on the middle oven rack, at 180 C fan, for about 45 minutes.
When ready, remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Finally, garnish with icing sugar.
