Ingredients

  • 375 g all-purpose flour
  • 400 g granulated sugar
  • 100 g ION cocoa powder
  • 300 ml water
  • 50 ml brandy
  • 100 g tahini
  • 200 ml seed oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Method

In a small pot, heat the water until lukewarm, and right after transfer it to a large bowl.

Then, add the sugar, and stir with a hand whisk until completely dissolved.

Right after, add cocoa powder, brandy, tahini, and seed oil, while whisking constantly until completely combined. Next, add the flour and baking powder to the mixture. Whisk until homogenized.

Afterward, line a 20×25 cm baking pan with parchment paper, and transfer the mixture into it. Bake in a preheated oven, on the middle oven rack, at 180 C fan for about 20-25 minutes.

Finally, let it cool before serving.
