Ingredients
- 3 medium eggs
- 1 sweetened condensed milk
- 230 g self-rising flour
- 130 g Lurpak cow milk butter
- 1 vanilla vial and orange zest, optionally
Method
Melt the butter, set aside, and let it cool slightly. Then, in a bowl add the eggs and melted butter and whisk well.
Next, add the sweetened condensed milk to the mixture, while whisking constantly.
Afterwards, add flour, and continue mixing until completely combined. At this stage of the recipe, you can add vanilla and orange zest if preferred.
Grease and flour a rectangular cake pan, and then pour the cake batter into it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160-170 C fan, for approximately 40 minutes.
