Whole Wheat Cake with Dark Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 375 ml fresh whole milk
  • 200 gr. dates
  • 120 gr. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 90 ml olive oil
  • 125 gr. classic dark chocolate ION

 

Method

Heat the milk until just before it reaches a boil.

Pour it into a bowl with the dates and let it sit for half an hour.

Then, blend the mixture until it forms paste.

Add all the other ingredients, except for the chocolate, and mix until the batter is
smooth.

Finally, add the chocolate, which has been chopped into small pieces, and gently fold
it in with a spatula.

Pour the mixture into a baking pan approximately 25×30 cm and bake in a preheated
oven at 170-180°C (338-356°F) with the fan on for about 45 minutes.
