Ingredients for the cake
- 435gr. chocolate-filled biscuits
- 240ml full-fat fresh milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100gr. chocolate chips ION
Ingredients for the ganache
- 125gr. classic chocolate ION
- 125ml heavy cream (35% fat)
Method for the cake
Open the chocolate-filled biscuits and remove their filling using a knife.
In a blender, grind all the biscuits into a powder.
Immediately add the milk and baking powder to the biscuit powder and mix for half a minute.
Finally, add the filling from the biscuits and blend in the blender until the ingredients are well combined.
Pour the mixture into a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top and use a spatula or spoon to mix them into the mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170 C, in air mode, for 18-20 minutes.
Method for the ganache
While our cake is baking, place the chocolate couverture in a bain-marie along with the heavy cream, and mix until a glossy ganache is formed, using a double boiler.
Once the cake is baked, immediately pour the warm ganache over the top.
This will give our cake additional moisture and a fudgy texture.
