Ingredients for the dough
- 200 g full-fat yogurt
- 1 medium egg
- 100 g Lurpak cow milk butter, melted
- 270 g self-rising flour
- Salt
- Pepper
Ingredients for the filling
- 200 g feta cheese
- 1 medium egg
- Salt
- Pepper
Method for the dough
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, until a dough is formed.
Be careful, the dough is sticky, but you do not need more flour.
Method for the filling
In a bowl, grate the feta cheese and mix well with the egg.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Method for the cheese pies
Take some of the dough and make a base in the palm of your hand.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper and place the dough on it.
Place the desired amount of filling on the dough, leaving half a centimeter around the perimeter.
Follow the same process with the dough in the palm of your hand, and close the cheese pie by pressing around the perimeter.
Optionally, make an eggwash by mixing an egg yolk with 2 tablespoons of water, and then brush each pie on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170C fan, for about 20 minutes.
