New Year’s Cake in 1 Bowl

Ingredients

  • 250 gr. Lurpak cow butter
  • 300 gr. sugar
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 300 gr. self-rising flour
  • 100 gr. almond powder
  • 100 gr. pistachio powder
  • 100 gr. dried fruits
  • 100 ml full-fat fresh milk
  • 50 ml tsipouro (Greek spirit)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • Powdered sugar for garnish

 

Method
Melt the butter over low heat.

Pour the melted butter into a large bowl, add the sugar, and stir with a whisk until
the sugar dissolves.

Add the eggs and mix until the mixture is homogeneous.

Immediately after, add the flour, nut powders, and spices.

Finally, add the dried fruits soaked in tsipouro and the milk. Mix well for the last
time.
Pour the mixture into a 22-24 cm baking dish lined with non-stick paper and bake in
a preheated oven at 160-170C in a air mode for about 45-50 minutes.

Once the cake is baked, invert it onto the serving dish and wait for it to cool
before dusting it with powdered sugar.
