Ingredients for the dough

  • 1 kg flour for pizza 
  • 1 packet dried yeast 
  • 50 g Lurpak cow milk butter
  • 10 g granulated sugar
  • 10 g salt
  • 550 ml water

 

Ingredients for the sauce

  • 1 package tomato puree
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • garlic
  • onion
  • rosemary
  • salt
  • pepper

CASTELLO Blue Cheese

Cured meat of your choice

A bit of fine semolina to roll out the dough 

 

Method for the dough

Heat the water, until lightly lukewarm. 

In a mixer’s bowl, add all the ingredients and beat with the hook attachment, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. 

Grease the inside of the bowl with olive oil, place into the dough, and cover with a towel. Let the dough rise in a warm place. Otherwise, preheat the oven to 50 C, turn it off, and place the bowl in for 30 minutes. 

 

Method for the sauce 

Place all the ingredients into a bowl and stir. Optionally, add herbs of your preference and as much as you want. 

When the dough has rested and doubled in size, transfer the dough onto your working surface. Sprinkle with fine semolina on your working surface and roll out the dough with a rolling pin or by hand. 

Line a baking pan with parchment paper and place the dough into it. Spread onto the dough the amount of tomato puree to your liking and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the tomato puree. Then, add the ingredients of your preference (cheese, cured meat, vegetables, etc.) 

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C fan for around 15-20 minutes.
