Ingredients
- 30 g cow milk butter
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 5 g baking powder
- 3 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 220 ml whole milk
- butter, for frying
Method
Into a bowl, place the milk, egg, melted butter, sugar, and salt, and stir well with a hand whisk. Then, add the baking powder and also gradually add the flour. Stir constantly, until it forms into a mushy mixture.
Depending on how you prefer the texture of the mixture -thick (for thicker pancakes) or watery (for thinner pancakes)- add 20-30 ml additional milk.
Preheat the frying pan over medium heat, and then melt a small cube butter. Pour a small portion of the mixture in the middle of the frying pan, using a ladle. When bubbles form on the top of the pancake, flip it over with a spatula. Continue the same process to make the rest of the pancakes. In case there will be some mixture leftover, store it in the fridge.
** For best results, refrigerate the pancake batter overnight.
